All URIs in GeoWordNet are dereferensable and available from this site in RDF and HTML rendering for machines and humans.

Semantic Web browsers can get an RDF/XML rendering of the symmetric concise bounded description of the resource by using the HTTP request header to explictly ask for application/rdf+xml type. You can also override the request headers of your browser by adding a .rdf suffix to the URL. For example, synset-dependent_political_entity-noun-1.rdf.

Standard Web browsers will be served a simple HTML rendering of the resource. For example, synset-dependent_political_entity-noun-1.

GeoWordNet is available for download in several formats:

  • Database (PostgreSQL dump)
  • RDF
  • WordNet dict (full and compatible)

Below are two screenshots from WordNet interface loaded with GeoWordNet data. Notice senses 4,5 and 6 coming from GeoWordNet. Notice also holonyms of senses 4 and 5 coming from GeoWordNet.
